Forming Consistent Habit's

I have decided to stop writing this blog idea.
I am getting really good at logging, but now need to figure out how to get better foods into my diet and will need to spend more time on my sparks page. This running from area to area is taking to much time. Sparks page will tend to give me info I need and contacts with people who may help get things straightened out for me to help me more.
We have such a old computer that it takes me to long to just get on here. Then it's loose stuff, get kicked off etc.. so stupid. I do not like our computer. Kids have it so full of crap too, unreal. If I can buy another one from a friend, I am going to keep it just to me for awhile. Or till me eldest moves out. If ever. Will be 29 this July and still at home, still getting $ every 2 weeks out of her Dad so she is getting paid to live here for free and does not help with regular daily things. Has piles of crap all over the house and gets really pissed when anyone touches it.
So good buy for now!
If I can get her to teach me how to use my camera on this as I have paid for in advance then I will open this back up and get pictures of things I make on here.
I will get on when I am canning and log in what all and how all i do things with that.
Off for compost today!

Forming Consistent Habit's

Did heavy cleaning for 5 hours today.
Drank my Tea and did the elliptical.
Will do my core after I get off line.
I had a whole chicken in my slow cooker all day, falling apart.
I am not use to these things yet, but nice when I know I will be way to tired to cook. This way at least part of it is done.
They say we should have sun through the weekend and Monday. Sure hope so, lot's of people are getting not only grumpy but the energy level on most of is has dropped terribly. I hope to hook my trailer up Saturday and go get compost for my garden. Many who got there's in have drowned with all the rain we have had.
The ear therapy with the Titanium beads has actually helped, Surprising sense she did low key to start. I slept just a little better last night and woke up with not as much pain as usual. I did end up with a head ache for quite awhile, I rarely get them so was glad when it passed. I have more intestinal cramping today and hurt more in my hips and low back which I usually get a break from in the middle of the day. Doing better right now.
I am going to start logging in how I feel etc.. as I am to try and keep a journal about my health sense the big oops in Sep. Will write that down later. Wish I had started it back then. I have been through SO much and from what I was told, am very lucky to be here.
I am off now to log in my food for the day and my work out.

Consistent Habit's

I drank my Tea today!! :)
No time, need to get on the elliptical still.
I went to this friend's for her to do the Ear therapy today. Need to read what it is called!! Anyhow, we will see if I can sleep better tonight.
I am not bad during the mid day, but night, and morning's are the worst!
Did not do good with water yesterday, and have not today! Hum, Need to go get my water bottle!!

Consistent Habit's

We had a great time with our grandson, daughter and her significant other.
Lot's of laughing, eating and talking. Taylor got this tow truck (from Car's) called Mater. It is remote controlled, but I forgot the batteries. We finally found enough so he could play with it. Man did he have a blast! But then, he held it up to his head and he got his hair all wound around the wheel. The truck keeps going back wards till you hit the button which makes it got forward. They really should have it where it stops and has a button to hit for each way. Was a real mess getting his hair out. Our eldest finally got his hair out of it though.
I got my two cakes done, both Yummy!
Staying away from them today as best I can! I have had just a couple bit's.
I did my elliptical today, will do my core when off this.
Need to drink my Tea yet too! This I missed yesterday as well.
Don't want to start that again!! Now that I have a fresh batch!
OK~~ Now I did drink my Tea!! ;)
I have my food logged in for today as well, though I have not eaten
my dinner yet, it's on there!
Got allot of errands done today.
Will go to D.M.V. tomorrow for a new title to my paid off car. Ya Ya
Is to be cloudy all week. I was upset for not getting my garden in yet, still even need compost! Tilling as well. But we have had such down pours, hale etc.. that those who did get there gardens in are having trouble with flooded beds.
So maybe I will have better timing.

Forming Consistent Habit's

It is a rainy day. But once it stops for a time I need to get out and rip the fence around my garden down, at least at both ends for compost dumping and tilling. I have so much I want to get planted this year as I have ton's to get canned to restock my shelves.
I want to freeze some corn canals, can some beets, green Bean's. Need to get some herbs dried, need to make more raisins (course I buy the grapes from the store unless I find someone with seedless red to pick and dry). I have tomatoes to get canned, pickles to make, want peach's, pears, applesauce. Get fresh berry's frozen and make some jam. My blueberry's are doing well this year, so if I can keep the neighbor kids out of them I should have plenty. Will see about wold blackberry's, and go to my favorite farm for Marian and raspberry's.
I would like to get a line put up and have my own rasp., Marion and some concord grapes of my own! I should be able to get what pears I want off my two tree's, we eat few, but love to have them. My peach tree's are baby's that I have not even sprayed, don't know really how top care for them, but the lot is shit right now so long as they live I will be happy. Wish my husband would help with something around here, would make my life a whole lot easier and would get so much more done vs just trying to keep up every year.
I poured my "K" tea off this morning, nice to have a full double batch! Drank some fresh, pretty tasty!! I make it with green tea and black peach, nice flavor that way.
Did not do my core yesterday, man missed like 2 day's now so will for sure do them today. Will do the elliptical too!!
I am not loosing any weight yet, but am not gaining anymore so all is good right?
I am logging my food intake but some I am just listing at the bottom note attachment as there is no log for the dietary content on some.
I am making stuffed manicotti today for my grandson's celebration tomorrow.
Sense my eldest does not like such, or anything like Lasagna I am making one casserole of it with steak and veggies with Moz. vs. Ricotta and using Marinara on all vs. home made spaghetti sauce in hopes it will be liked better.
My husband should be home today from so called fishing, though sure with the storms that passed through that drinking and cards was the only fishing they did. Glad at least one of us gets to go places and just have there job to do and nothing at home to do or deal with at all. Must be nice to have a free work horse you don't have to pay or spend time with.
I am so proud of how I am doing with all this. I think the 11Th of June I will have been at this for 2 months!! WOW. :)

Forming Consistent Habit's

I tell you, we need a new computer!! I spent hours on this thing last night trying to do my mail, list my food and get here.
I obviously did not get all done!
I will pour my tea off tonight or tomorrow. Missed just a couple day's with one tea dose between them. I am happy about that.
I need to do my core today, but the last couple day's my back/hip's and legs hurt to bad to get on the floor to do them.
I am keeping up pretty good with my Sparks page. If I don't get something on there due to writing on it early, I do it the next day and get all on that I did after or when I have more time to finish.
I am still getting in at least 8 ~ 8oz. glass's of water every day. That's a big WOW for me there.
If I could get some of this weight off I would be feeling better I am sure.
Surgery and not being aloud to do much for so long really screwed me over.
I have at the least 50 lb's to loose. I would go on the biggest looser show except I am sure those wonderful people who go on it would think it was a joke for so little to loose when they have real health and weight issues compared to me.
Maybe I should write them anyhow!! :)

Well I did get my core work out in.
But I skipped my tea till this morning, so I am not going more then just a day between pouring the next batch off.
Still doing good with Water. Sense I had detested water for so many years, I find it nothing shot of amazing that I am getting in at least 8 cups of water a day. I fill dish washer cleaned SOBE glass bottles.
They hold 20 Oz. which helps me count it.
Really burnt out, with this Sciatica or ? I am experiencing sense my surgery's
second hospital stay I am just not getting much good sleep.

Well I did manage to do my elliptical yesterday.
But I cleaned 2 places today, so real tired. I will do my core though!!
I did drink my tea yesterday and will do so again this evening.
I am about out, but luckily I have a double batch about ready to pour.
I wrote my food intake and exercise down on my Sparks page.
It is getting faster and easier to do so thank goodness.
I never did it before as it always seemed to take Forever!!
But I am actually getting pretty good at it.
I am not great at staying in the nutrient range, but am sure not going to worry about that part right now.
One thing at a time Right???
I need to look at the date on my first day doing this.
I do believe I am getting close to 2 months now! Unreal.
I would have never thought I could do this.

Busy day yesterday!! Was great having Taylor my grandson here.
I drank my Tea yesterday, did my core, but no elliptical and ate way to much crap!
I have my tea yet to do today and my core. I worked 6 hours doing heavy cleaning today so most likely wont do the elliptical today either.
Time to get some water and do my exercises.

Was not time for this yesterday.
Saw my daughter and grandson.
Then went major shopping which takes a good 3 hours usually.
Then home to put it all away and mow the lawn for a couple hours.
Did a few things inside then took off to a movie with my son.
I did drink my tea yesterday and did one set of core. Water~
Today I added my food to my sparks page.
Not sure if I will get much more added in it today but breakfast as my grandson is coming to spend the night. Will be busy with him for sure!
I will drink my tea today, do my core when I get off this.
Hope to do my elliptical but need to do some weeding.
Not sure where my energy will go to?
Coffee is gone so will go get my water bottle filled.
Should do some weed spraying again, the stuff that got Crossbow did not die, only where I used Round up did it all die. Not sure why!! ??

Well I worked a good 5 hours doing heavy cleaning.
I drank my tea.
I entered my food on my Sparks page.
I did my core strengthening exercises, and added a couple to it.
One yesterday and one today.
And have one I do when I am not to pelvic sore to do it.
Today was not a day to do it. :)
I have no idea what to make for dinner.???
Got my teeth cleaned today at the dentist, and all looks good.

Forming Consistent Habit's

Well, I have yet to do my core more today, but did do some.
I will do the elliptical again today and I worked 4 1/2 hours today
doing heavy cleaning.
I drank my "K" Tea already too!
I got my foods logged in for today, except for what else is going with the baked
lean pork chops I am cooking.
I am drinking water great. Unreal, I am still surprised by this sense for so many years I could not stand water. Took me time to get into wanting to drink it, let alone this much. My water intake before was like 4 oz to take vitamins, well when I took them that is. Do not feel one needs them all the time, every day. I take them just when I feel the need.
I even logged in some exercises on my sparks page today, did so for the past 3 day's I think. It's not much, but something. I am trying to build a habit of keeping track of my food and work outs.
I am getting better and faster all the time!! :)

Forming Consistent Habit's, 5/10 & 5/11

Well, someone was on this late last night so I was not able to get
back on, but I did enter the food's I ate earlier.
Entered today's already as well.
I drank 8 cups or more of water both days.
Drank my "K" tea too!! :)
I did my core strengthening exercises yesterday and today.
I did 500 at level 1's on my elliptical as well yesterday and hope to do them
again today, but worked so we will see!
Doing good!!
BUT I ate a whole bag of Kettle BBQ chips today.
Guess it was 8 servings. Oops! Will count them from now on.
Heck the home made cookies I ate the day before didn't add much
at all, but the chips sure did. Oh good cookies too! A chocolate cookie with walnuts, like a brownie! Then a coconut oatmeal one, chewy nice!

Happy Mother's Day!!

AND ~~ Happy Forming Consistent Habit's Too!!
Hope all had as nice of a mother's day as i did.
I drank my "K" Tea.
Did not do core last night but did some in the car today.
Drinking more water as I sit here so will make my 8 again.
Still need to list my food, though tonight I am not sure how to?
I had one danish today~ that's easy!
Then my husband sprung for Chinese to bring home so had quite a nice variety of that for dinner and that was it.
I am not getting my couple cheese stick's in I had yesterday or the pop corn or the couple sugar cookies I made. HUMMM ? Need to get this on the list for sure. But least my habit is forming nice so I am not going to beat myself up for it. But will be proud in what I have managed thus far! :)
I saw my mom today, gave her a couple cards and a hanging basket for Geraniums.
Came home and got making a couple different kinds of cookie so I have some to take to my Aspire kids I hope to see tomorrow.
Am meeting a friend and her husband for lunch tomorrow.
BUT before that I am getting my hair cut.
Did this a couple years ago and was not real happy with it, did the things not wanted and left others not wanted. But will try again and not have so many restrictions as well, maybe that will help? I just want to be able to put it up on my head and I don't care for much hair in my eyes.
That's not to much, you think?
Got my car title for paying off my car. Yaaaa Not I need to get in for a
New title. So nice have it paid for.
Now need to get the fuel line cleaned and it will be good to go!

I got my food logged in at Sparks.
I drank my "K" tea and made a new batch to ferment. Just have a couple bottles left, so will pour one off in a week and let the other go one more.
I did not do my core yet today. I did manage to get a couple in yesterday. I will go ahead and do some before I go to bed. There low key so I don't think it will hurt for one time. :)
I will see about starting up my elliptical in another couple weeks. REALLY need to get out and Walk! Don't get what is up with me not getting into working out. I grew up loving it and doing it on my own for years. ??
Am doing great with water. I drink my 8 Oz plus on many days!

Forming Consistent Habit's

OK, I have decided to post all my food intake on my Sparks page instead of here. They track your calories, protein, carb's etc.. You give you weight, which about killed me to even put on there!! It takes your weight and then tells you approximately how many calories etc.. you should have each day.
Will really let me SEE what I am taking in.
There is somewhere on there that tells you how many calories you have burned with what ever physical things you do.
Pretty cool if I can keep my habit going there like I did here!! Means two sight's to get onto. Time Time TIME!! :)
I did do my tracking!!
Had my "K" Tea.
Went to the Doc., but will do more core today and get in a second set.
Drank close to 6 cup's water and will make 8 easy again today.
I am impressed with how this Blog thing I am doing is REALLY helping me.
So glad I decided to do this and give it a go.

Breakfast was small bowl of oatmeal, toast and past of a banana. Was to ripe, should have cut it into a bowl with sugar.
Went to Thai food for lunch~ Yummmm Never get tired of it, wish I could afford it more often.
Dinner was breaded Flounder, 6 seasoned potato wedges and corn.
Choc., Ice Cream for desert.
Drank my "K" tea yesterday and today.
Need to do a few core exercises yet too.

Forming Consistent Habit's

Worked my 5 1/2 hours today.
Had my egg's, toast and then 1/2 a grapefruit.
Lunch was 2 cheese stick's, 2 carrots and a Fiber One bar.
Dinner~ Hum?? Left overs, see what there is and first come gets there choice! Sounds good to me!
Went to my physical therapist today, not much he can help with I guess. It's looks to be my sacroiliac that is needing rest etc.. He gave me a brace that is just for that, has it's name and everything! He he
Need to go to a pain Doc., now and see if they can help me with that.
I am to call Medical Records and get my file and keep track of all apt., and such. I am guessing in case there is something legal that needs to be done later.
This sure sucks, I have always been so healthy, no troubles that were much of anything. And now here I am! One big time surgery oops and I am still dealing with it's effect's. Shoot!! (yes, thinking another word here!!)
I will just try to stay happy and roll with it till all can hopefully be fixed, straightened out or ? what ever it takes. :)
I did not drink my tea yesterday, but will once I get off this.
Do my simple core strengthening exercise.

Did not get on this yesterday. My husband informed me his Sister had died Saturday evening and he had just found out and told me late Sunday night.
So sad, was just 48 to be 49 in July. :(
I had my usual breakfast yesterday and today.
Lunch was grilled Chicken sandwich with Fries at Trask Mountain.
Dinner was a fast stop at burger king after a meeting about my son's European trip June 2011.
Had 2 cheese stick's, bagel w/ cream cheese, 2 carrots and a Fiber One bar for lunch.
Having Pizza bought from Win co ~ Leonardo's.
Did my core exercise today and yesterday.
Had my tea yesterday but still need to drink it tonight.
Worked close to 8 hours today.
Will be happier as each day passes.

I had such a late morning, I had that banana then later when it was close to 12:30 1pm I had a couple egg's and 4 pieces of raisin toast.
Eating some BBQ kettle chip's right now.
But we are having Cream Steak for dinner. One of our favorite's.
Having mashed potatoes with it, pea's and a bowl of Cottage Cheese with
fresh pears cut into it.
I did core, 3 set's of three~~ 3 different ones.
Had my "K" tea today as well.
Off to work on dinner!!

Yesterday was a good busy day!
I made french toast for breakfast, with it's 12 ingredients! :)
Nice one, guessed it from a Chef years ago!
Lunch was late, so was dinner too~had burger king while doing errands in town.
Came home did some chores then off to the movies with my son and
a friend of his. Had a dead battery after but some real nice people gave us a jump and we were on our way home. Made it before 1:30 am. last night.
I did my core strengthening a good 3 time, but did several each time.
Had my "K" tea and will go do that for today when off here.
Need to mow today. But have yet to eat something besides a banana and it's about 12:20 already.
Will be back on tonight for today's blog!
